It’s that time of year – digging in the couch cushions for lost money, repairing sweaters for next winter, refreshing the home to be able to fully enjoy the outdoors (or bring the outdoors in).
As you’re cleaning out that closet, trying on clothes, wondering what to do with the items that no longer bring joy, no longer are you, remember those who struggle to find affordable, appropriate interview wear. Remember those who need uniforms or outfits for work. Then bring your gently-used, like-new, items to LYDIA, Inc.
From now until early September, we’re accepting all sizes, all genders, professional attire for our closet. We accept accessories from scarves and ties to cuff links to costume jewelry to shoes and handbags 👜, briefcases 💼, or satchels.
We also accept: never used makeup, nail polish; and samples of: cologne, lotions, perfumes, soap (including shampoo and conditioner) and the like.
All donations are tax-deductible. Just speak with your tax agent or preparer.
Then, in September, we’ll have a fashion show, putting your donations together in appropriate interview wear.
