Emma Shows is a certified meditation and self-hypnosis instructor. These mini meditations are a brief reminder to take time out of your day for yourself, to ground, recenter, or to come back to awareness of your present when dealing with the day-to-day stresses. Stress is neither good nor bad, it’s just stress, it’s the way our body responds to stimuli, whether internal or external. When we’re overstimulated, we may find ourselves entering into a flight-or-fight, fawn-or-freeze state of being. By taking a quick mental break, we can interrupt those patterns that cause our brains and bodies to stutter, reset ourselves, and begin anew.
These meditations have no other intention than to bring you a moment’s rest. Please do not listen to the recordings while operating heavy machinery, including driving a vehicle. These meditations are not to take place of a doctor or therapist’s advice.
